My urge to make stuff is often times an intersection between other interests. See, I love things like woodworking and plastic fabrication and welding and electronics. And I am a professional programmer. And I have a huge artistic interest in sculpture and photography. So I tend to combine a few interests and start making things.
You can probably tell that I was excited when Make Magazine came out.
